Empowering Youth
D4US is a mission-driven nonprofit that uses basketball as a tool to empower youth in communities with limited access to structured programs. We focus on mentorship, leadership, and life skills—building stronger futures together.
Meet DARI "D4" HUNTER
Dari Hunter, known on the court as “D4,” is a former student-athlete and proud graduate of Webster University, where she played collegiate basketball from 2017 to 2021. As a key contributor to the Gorloks, Dari helped lead the team to two SLIAC Conference Championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
Overcoming adversity—including a return from knee surgery—she brought relentless energy, tenacity, and heart to every game. Throughout her career, Dari appeared in over 50 games, contributing consistently across points, rebounds, steals, and blocks, and showing up in big moments for her team.
A Criminology major with minors in Legal Studies and Sociology, Dari blends competitive spirit with a commitment to growth and impact. Off the court, she enjoys poetry, traveling, and family.
Her guiding quote: “Comparison is the thief of joy.” — a reminder to embrace your own journey, unapologetically.
